Overall Purpose
Oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain planning, logistics, and supply management functions, including forecasting, purchasing, inventory planning, and materials management. Manage large teams across multiple facilities to ensure efficient operations and informed personnel decisions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strategic Supply Chain Management: Lead the design, development, and implementation of supply chain planning and fulfillment strategies, including demand forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to optimize efficiency and service levels.
Operational Excellence: Ensure timely customer order fulfillment, reduce inventory levels, and continuously improve logistics processes to meet operational targets and enhance financial performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct and mentor large teams, drive personnel decisions, and champion employee development, while partnering with business units to support product planning and alignment with business roadmaps.
Performance and Risk Management: Use advanced data tools to monitor supply chain performance, identify improvement opportunities, and mitigate risks related to finance, sustainability, and compliance—ensuring regulatory adherence and enhancing customer experience.
Technology and Innovation: Leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and robotics to evolve supply chain processes, support new product launches, and drive strategic projects for inventory optimization and distribution enhancement.

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.

Compensation
Our Director, Supply Chain Planning/Logistics, earns between$158,200 - $237,400 USD annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
