Role Overview:
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Reporting & Analytics – Digital Growth Marketing will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering the digital analytics vision and roadmap aligned with enterprise goals, digital KPIs, and customer experience strategies. The AVP will partner closely with marketing, product, and technology leaders to translate data into actionable strategies that accelerate business growth and optimize marketing performance. This role demands a strategic leader who can define and drive the digital analytics vision and roadmap aligned with enterprise goals, digital KPIs, and customer experience strategies.
This position is based in Dallas, TX requiring in-office presence 5 days a week. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership by translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Foster a data-informed culture across digital, marketing, product, and technology teams.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmarks, and scorecards to evaluate digital strategy effectiveness and user engagement.
- Lead advanced analytics initiatives such as predictive modeling, customer segmentation, and marketing mix modeling to optimize campaign performance and growth.
- Oversee design and implementation of scalable analytics infrastructure, including tagging, data integration, and enterprise platform strategy.
- Build and lead a high-performing analytics team comprising digital analysts, data engineers, visualization experts, and product managers, promoting continuous learning and career development.
- Manage agile processes for analytics project intake, prioritization, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, technology, and data engineering teams to develop robust data models, dashboards, and ensure data quality, accessibility, and governance compliance.
- Establish and enforce data governance standards for accuracy, privacy, and reporting consistency.
- Present clear, compelling insights and strategic narratives to senior leadership.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for analytics initiatives to maximize ROI and business impact.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or related fields, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading analytics teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- Expertise in digital marketing measurement, including paid media, SEO, email marketing, and customer journey analytics.
- Strong proficiency with analytics tools such as SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI, and marketing platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships in analytics or marketing technology domains.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in telecom, technology, or subscription-based industries.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and marketing attribution models.
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations impacting digital marketing analytics.
