Role Overview:
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Digital Strategy - Go-To-Market will lead a high-performing team responsible for defining how AT&T’s products, campaigns, and offers are brought to market across digital touchpoints. This role will oversee leaders focused on Campaign Strategy, Offer Strategy, Product Strategy, and Content Strategy, ensuring cohesive and aligned go-to-market execution that spans Consumer and Business audiences.
Acting as a strategic counterpart to audience-based digital experience leaders, this AVP will focus on the "how” - how we show up across channels, how we communicate value, and how we ensure content consistency and excellence throughout the digital customer journey. This role is pivotal in driving digital performance by unifying strategy and execution across cross-functional initiatives.
Reporting to the VP of Performance, this AVP will collaborate closely with senior leaders across marketing, product, digital experience, technology, and operations to shape and activate strategies that drive awareness, engagement, conversion, and measurable business growth.
This role is based in Dallas, Texas, requiring in-office presence 5 days/week. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional team of strategic leads responsible for Campaign Strategy, Offer Strategy, Product Strategy, and Content Strategy.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for digital touchpoints, ensuring timely, relevant, and effective delivery of products, offers, and campaigns.
- Serve as the digital GTM counterpart to audience-focused digital experience leaders, aligning on execution while maintaining strategic ownership across lines of business.
- Define the strategy for how content supports GTM initiatives across the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring clarity, consistency, and performance.
- Partner with performance, experience, product, and marketing teams to align GTM initiatives with enterprise priorities and growth goals.
- Drive collaboration across digital and business units to deliver integrated plans that maximize customer impact and business value.
- Establish and maintain frameworks for prioritization, messaging alignment, and creative/content development that support scalable, high-performing campaigns.
- Lead financial accountability for campaign, offer, and product GTM execution across digital—ensuring performance is forecasted, measured, and optimized.
- Leverage analytics and performance insights to continuously refine GTM plans, improve ROI, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in digital strategy, go-to-market planning, or marketing leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across strategy and execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong financial and quantitative acumen with a deep understanding of performance measurement, forecasting, and optimization.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and content ecosystems.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to connect business goals to actionable plans.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Strategy, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Background in telecom, technology, or subscription-based services.
- Experience working in enterprise-level environments with multiple customer segments.
- Familiarity with performance marketing and digital conversion optimization techniques.
