Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Oversight: Develop and implement audit plans aligned with organizational goals, and contribute to strategic planning with senior management.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate significant business risks through effective audit practices ensuring audit issues are well defined and root causes are identified.
Audit Execution and Compliance: Lead and oversee internal audits, ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Develop formal reporting system to communicate audit results to senior management.
Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor the audit team, ensuring continuous professional development and up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards.
Special Projects and Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in special projects, build relationships with executives and stakeholders, and collaborate with them to implement audit improvements.
Comprehensive Audits: Conduct detailed and holistic audits across departments using modern auditing tools and methodologies for accuracy and efficiency.
Actionable Recommendations: Provide clear recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance and execute transformation initiatives based on audit findings.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Public accounting experience preferably in Big 4.
Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in auditing, ideally in a director-level auditor position.
Maintain a balance between long-term vision, short-term goals, meticulous attention to detail, and overarching strategic thinking.
Innovate ideas, solutions, and frameworks while leading with thought leadership, and demonstrate proficiency in using modern auditing tools and software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and integrity.
Our AVP-Audit earn between $210,600 - $316,000 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
