The Expert Cyber Security candidate will be responsible for leading the technical creation, management, and delivery of our Cyber Threat Analytical platforms and programs. This position will serve as an SME on all matters related to our cybersecurity logging and monitoring environments along with running an agile shop for the team's deliverables. The candidate will also lead day-to-day tasks leveraging JIRA, automated metrics, reports, and providing program updates directly to senior leadership.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strong focus on driving automations, AI, and machine learning solutions driving down cyber risks.
Independently responsible to lead the entire lifecycle of assigned projects including autonomous development and contributing to the engineering requirements with a duty to ensure that security, reliability, and performance standards are met.
Drive team members and adjacent teams on development, platform, and system test related tasks leveraging JIRA in an agile environment.
Coordinate the resolution of development issues and initiate platform innovation.
Serve as the SME and expert technical escalation point for teams across various business units.
Generate reports, documentation, contribute to team metrics.
Required Skills:
7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
5+ years of experience within the SIEM ecosystem and related technologies (Splunk, qRadar, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Sentinel One).
Demonstrated foundational experience working with associated agile and various reporting technologies (e.g. JIRA, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, PowerBI).
Expert level understanding of security logs and the ability to rapidly search, report, and troubleshoot within various datasets.
Strong knowledge with agile methodologies, e.g. SCRUM
Expert understanding of Cloud architecture & technologies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Our Expert Cybersecurity earns between $155,400-$233,200 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
