AT&T has an opening for a Project Manager supporting the Program Management Office (PMO) with a focus to manage program priorities, process improvements, projects and procedures. The PMO Project Manager works closely with program leadership, customer leadership, and representatives of other IT service providers under the customer’s IT ecosystem.
This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the PMO Support Team, the PMO Project Manager will facilitate collaboration and coordination with leads and other project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks. This role involves overseeing all project phases, monitoring progress, summarizing status updates, and delivering final outcomes to customers when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate directly with senior managers across the program to ensure alignment and timely completion of all project components and seamless project execution.
Prepare and deliver detailed project status reports to upper management as requested by the PMO.
Partner with Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers, senior leadership, and Project Managers to proactively manage risks in order to minimize impacts on project delivery.
Develop and maintain thorough project and contract documentation. Lead the quarterly preparation of a comprehensive Program Management Review (PMR), which serves as a formal Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for customer presentation.
Manage the quarterly development of extensive Award Fee Self-Assessments and Shared Destiny Self-Assessments for program reporting and customer review.
Provide expertise and support for government contracting efforts, including contract bidding, acquisition, modifications, statement of work development, and other program management activities.
Work cross-functionally with program leads in business, finance, operations, technical, information security, property management, and contracts to identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks.
Serve as a backup participant in Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Board meetings and oversee the follow-up and completion of action items.
Develop and improve program wide risk management strategies and plans to ensure the program is not at risk and adheres to contract cost, schedule, and scope. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, at different levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. (NOTE: This equates to a doctorate and 3 years, master’s and 4 years, bachelor’s and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years). Additional required qualifications include:
Experience working in a team environment within a professional office setting.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills and ability to manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
$98,100 - $160,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
