Overview:
As a Principal User Researcher, you will be a trusted strategic partner in defining and delivering innovative products across diverse domains. You’ll lead user research throughout the entire product lifecycle, playing a key role in shaping what we build and how we design user experiences. Working alongside Product Design partners, you’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leaders to create value and craft exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities:
Expertise in quantitative research — from discovery to usability and everything in between — and a proven track record of research impact through a product lifecycle.

You are a great communicator — articulate and confident. Ability to translate reports in digestible formats and socialize findings into product recommendations.
Actively identify and track metrics / trends relevant to company and product goals.
You will create and help refine proven research frameworks to track impact and improve our products.
You are proactive at identifying research needs, as well as planning and executing research programs to bring insights and opportunities for us to better serve and bring value to our customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrate expertise in a variety of quantitative research methods, including usability — through a product lifecycle.
Demonstrate ability to drive research impact — leading and executing research programs, data synthesis — turning findings into digestible communications and clear directives.
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate and articulate research goals and findings.
8+ years of experience in the research field.
8+ years of experience working collaboratively across functions: product, engineering, design, marketing, data science, and sales.
Our Principal UX Researcher, earns between $158,200-$237,400 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
