In the role of Senior, AI Cybersecurity, you will help design, implement, and secure systems from emerging AI cyber threats. You will leverage your advanced expertise to develop innovative solutions, shape organizational objectives, and enable compliance with industry standards. This high-impact role involves close collaboration with leaders to drive meaningful operational change by securing AT&T’s AI initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop security protocols to protect AI systems from malicious actors. Create and implement strategies to protect AI systems from cyber-attacks.
  • Develop tools and processes to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities. Design, implement, and plan tests for AI adversarial testing.
  • Develop secure coding standards and best practices for AI-related projects. Provide technical guidance to developers on secure coding practices.
  • Monitor AI systems and networks to detect potential security threats. Audit existing AI systems for security risks and compliance. Conduct AI solution architecture assessments to ensure proper security controls. Work with stakeholders to ensure secure deployment of AI systems.
  • Research emerging technologies in AI security and evaluate their effectiveness. Develop and implement AI content and responsible AI filtering mechanisms. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of AI security principles and practices. Handle sensitive data securely within AI solutions.

Required skills:

Proven Expertise: Ideal candidate has proven technology management skills and hands-on experience (e.g., 5 years minimum) with cloud services (e.g, Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI/ML technologies and solutions.  Candidate should also have proven experience (e.g., 3+ years) with assessing/testing/implementing robust security systems and applications (ideally, specific to safeguarding AI).

Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with benchmarking AI/ML controls and frameworks (examples may include NIST AI-RMF, ISO42001, ISO23894, and OWASP Top 10 for LLM).

Educational Foundation: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity or a related fields.  Relevant credentials and certifications (examples may include CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or specialized AI/ML certifications).

Deep experience in software architecture, AI/ML and engineering.  A creative problem-solver with strong execution skills.  An ability to guide others through change and have a track record of successfully navigating new technological developments within organizations by anticipating impacts and managing details.

Our Senior Cybersecurity, earns between $130,700-$196,100 Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
