The Mobility network is transforming the infrastructure and services to meet the market demands for evolution to 5G and VoNR in Cloud Computing environments. Our team is standing at the forefront of innovation, delivering cutting-edge test automation application platforms focusing on Mobility Core and IMS Core. We are seeking a talented engineer with interests in automation to join our dynamic team.
This position is part of the Mobility Core- Voice Core team that is responsible for the architecture, design, and automation of the vUSP/IMS Application platforms. The primary responsibilities for this role would be to contribute to the end-to-end Voice Core test automation architecture, solution, and development.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Involve in developing automation frameworks for validating VoNR, VoLTE, and VoIP calls in Mobility Core and IMS core
Implement best practices in the software development lifecycle, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance.
Learn to implement robust security measures to protect applications and data from threats and vulnerabilities.
Effectively work with the joint onshore and offshore teams and work closely with other cross functional teams including Project Management, TP&E, operations and other partner organizations to ensure successful delivery of all software and features
Qualifications:
Some experience in architecting, designing and deploying mobility/IMS network platforms and services
Basic knowledge on 3GPP Packet Core and IMS platform architecture and protocols, such as SIP, Diameter, HTTP- REST, etc.
Basic knowledge with various AT&T IMS service and features
Basic knowledge in end-to-end system performance and cross layer integration involving UE, RAN, mobility core network, IMS core and applications
Experienced in software tool development for Mobility services, with the knowledge of AT&T internal dev tools (e.g., Softtest, ANT) as a plus.
Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, shell programming for prototyping, development, test data analysis, log analysis, algorithm development.
Some hands-on experience in design, testing and deployment of Network Functions on different cloud and virtualization technologies like OpenStack as well as Containerization and Kubernetes.
Some hands-on knowledge and skills to build test automation tools to enable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Ability to solve complex, critical problems related to significant and unique issues by using extensive research and interpretative thinking.
Entry into this title requires AT&T Technical Title Plan (TTP) Board Approval.
Candidate shall have Bachelor's of Science or MS or equivalent in an approved field from an accredited universitydegree major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of relevant design/development/testing experience in wireless/wireline Telco industry.Master's degree is preferred, with Math or Data Science as a minor would be a plus.
Our Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff, earns between $108,900.00 - $183,000.00 Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
