About the Marketing & Growth Organization
The Marketing & Growth Organization (MGO) is AT&T’s marketing engine, responsible for driving sustainable growth by deeply understanding and championing our customers, captivating them with compelling products, services and experiences; and building a culturally relevant and beloved brand. This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
Work Location: Atlanta, GA
Overall purpose: Research, collect, process, and organize data into various data repositories including maintaining and updating interfaces, creating data rules and data mapping, resolving data discrepancies across multiple business applications, then responding to business requests to analyze data to generate actionable insights.
Summary of Technical Expertise Desired (in order of importance): SQL Server, SSIS Development, Snowflake, C#, React, .Net MVC, SSAS, Azure Administration/Development
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Data Collection and Processing: Gather, preprocess, and cleanse data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and readiness for analysis. Utilize SQL Server to efficiently query and manage large datasets.
- Data Integration and ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to extract, transform, and load data across multiple systems and repositories including Snowflake, Oracle, Flat Files, and APIs.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends and insights, creating reports and recommendations for business decisions.
- Data Aggregation and Modeling: Develop and maintain multidimensional and tabular data models using SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) to aggregate data efficiently for reporting and analytical purposes.
- Application Development and Support: Support and develop internal applications using C#, .Net MVC, and React frameworks to enable data accessibility and interactive reporting for stakeholders.
- Cloud Administration and Development: Manage and develop cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, including administration of cloud resources, deployment pipelines, and integration with on-premises systems.
- Reporting and Visualization: Create clear, factual/precise, and compelling data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Discrepancy Resolution and Quality Assurance: Identify, resolve, and ensure data accuracy across platforms, maintaining data reliability through quality control and auditing.
Job Contribution: An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science, Math, etc. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
Our Principal Data Analysis earn between $128,400 - $192,600 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
