In this role you will be responsible for Data Analytics and Insights for the Mobility Portfolio, focusing on “End to End” performance throughout the customer lifecycle (Credit application, payment performance, Collections treatment, involuntary churn, write-off, and recovery). This individual will be a subject matter expert responsible for the business product portfolio (Mobility and Broadband) across all business segments (Small Business, Mid-Market, and Large Business). They will advise business partners across multiple organizations regarding patterns and relationships to provide insights and recommend business strategies or modifications. The individual will incorporate advanced tools and techniques in order to gather, analyze, and interpret data from a wide variety of sources. The role involves developing reports, charts, tables, and executive presentations to support findings and recommendations. The individual will successfully manage and foster partnerships across organizations: Finance, Credit, Collections, Marketing, Sales, and Channels. Requests are frequently of an urgent nature and have leadership visibility. The individual will serve as the front door for all data/analysis/requests from partners, vetting data availability, and writing business requirements for all requests that require complex development by data engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for business partners and leadership, providing insights on business product portfolio performance and offering strategic recommendations for ongoing optimization.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships, trigger points, and ultimately make predictions on customer behavior and portfolio performance.
• Analyze data from multiple sources, including internal/external data, data warehouses, etc.
• Provide precise, timely, and actionable insights to support business partners in strategic decision-making, performance tracking, and identifying growth opportunities and risk mitigation.
• Utilize tools for reporting and analytics, including but not limited to Data Cubes, Power BI, Databricks, Palantir, Azure, etc.
• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to align data needs and reporting with strategic goals and identify areas for improvement through research and facilitation.
• Reconcile and resolve data discrepancies with business partners.
• Utilize an understanding of system flows (sales, credit, collections, billing, payments) and data warehouse/reporting flows to validate the accuracy of reported data and investigate anomalies to isolate root cause issues in reporting and/or gaps in processes and systems that may be causing financial losses. Quantify and communicate impacts on business performance results to leadership. Pursue remediation of identified issues with partners across functional areas.
• Develop a centralized and well-documented framework for reporting sources/tools, integrating data from multiple disparate sources. Develop training instructions and a data dictionary to support business unit self-serve ability for routine reporting KPIs.
• Apply advanced skills in the use of trend analysis, statistics, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the appropriate data to be analyzed from internal and external sources to explain or predict behavior, identify and resolve a variety of business problems, and build business cases.
• Partner with Data Scientists to establish business requirements, guide implementation, and measure the impact of probabilistic models.
Skills Required:
• Advanced Excel skills, including expertise with pivot tables.
• Strong PowerPoint and communication skills – ability to develop and deliver clear and concise presentations to business leadership.
• Strong data visualization skills.
• Modeling and forecasting experience.
• Understanding of the ATT data ecosystem.
• Credit and Collections experience preferred.
• Familiarity with business processes preferred.
• Understanding and monitoring of external macroeconomic factors, and the ability to correlate with internal performance trends.
• Must be inquisitive, proactive, and a quick learner.
• Ability to work well under pressure and effectively prioritize multiple urgent requests.

Preferred Education:
Preferred master's degree in data science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
