This position is responsible for developing design standards for technical building electrical infrastructure which is a component part of supporting network designs for wireless, wireline and broadband deployment and operations. Applies the necessary tools and engineering principles to create and design infrastructure components.  Coordinate and report on programs to support network/building infrastructure in accordance with approved guidelines. Performs Program Management for key corporate initiatives including Arc Flash, Switchgear and Automatic Transfer Switch maintenance and Walking Working Surfaces programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reliability and resiliency of building infrastructure that support the various Network equipment elements with emphasis on the Cloud facilities.
  • Responsibilities may also include working with Network Engineering and Operations and Global Real Estate, product development, and engineering teams to author process documentation, methods, procedures, and guidelines for current building infrastructure in network planning, capacity management, and network builds.
  • Coordinates and interfaces with internal and external customers to ensure service commitments are met.
  • Uses engineering tools, various software applications, and databases to assist in creating the operating philosophies, engineering documents, AT&T Practices and variances to established AT&T practices.
  • Provide implementation support of infrastructure to assure proper execution and provides resolution for system failures or degradations. Provide project management and documentation as required.
  •  Performs root cause analysis and investigations into incidents related to building infrastructure incidents impacting external customers, business operations and service impacting events.
  • Prepares / oversees cost/benefit estimates, presentations, negotiations, installation, problem resolution, cost reduction, value engineering, and multivendor product integration.

Experience:

  • This position will sit in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA and be required to be in the office 3+ days per week
  • Requires 8-10 years electrical industry experience
  • Professional Electrical Engineering License preferred
  • Project\Program Management experience


Our Electrical Program Manager & SME earn between $118,800 - $178,200 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
