Overall Purpose Optimizes procurement strategies by managing, negotiating, monitoring, and sourcing vendor and sub-contractor contracts to ensure cost-effective and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Contract Negotiation and Management:Lead negotiations for vendor and sub-contractor contracts, manage contract modifications, and ensure compliance with terms and conditions to align with organizational goals.
Procurement Strategy Development:Formulate and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness, including market research and sourcing new suppliers.
Vendor and Sub-contractor Management:Manage relationships with vendors and sub-contractors, assess performance, and handle commercial contract issues, including licensing agreements, invoicing, and receivable issues.
Risk Management and Compliance:Identify potential supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Performance Monitoring and Process Improvement:Continuously monitor procurement performance metrics, prepare reports for strategic decision-making, and identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.

Compensation Our Lead Sourcing Managers earn between $94,300 - $158,400 USD annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
