Overall, Purpose
Manage and optimize the vendor relationship cycle, identifying and monitoring vendor processes and guidelines to ensure cost-effective procurement, quality, and compliance with industry standards to support organizational goals.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Vendor Relationship Management: Support and manage the entire vendor relationship cycle, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors for long-term contracts.
· Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring: Establish systems and procedures to ensure the quality of vendor services, develop requirements and monitoring measures for suppliers, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights for informed decision-making.
· Contract Administration and Compliance: Assist in the administration and management of vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions, industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
· Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in vendor management processes, collaborate in devising solutions to problems of moderate scope, and implement initiatives to enhance vendor performance and overall efficiency.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Fulfillment: Partner with other business units to align vendor management activities with overall business objectives, facilitate seamless communication and coordination across departments, and contribute to the fulfillment of projects and
organizational goals.

Compensation
Our Specialist Vendor Management professionals earn between $70,700 - $106,100 USD Annual. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
