DUTIES: Design, develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot applications with a focus on automation. Review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, and create software design specifications. Develop methodologies through the application of various programming languages including Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Groovy. Create and execute automated test plans and strategies utilizing business requirements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data, and test results on hardware and software interactions. Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reporting. Utilize unit testing, dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Support applications and the software deployment process and solve configuration and environment issues. Utilize cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Utilize CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS Code Pipeline. Use configuration management tools using Ansible, Chef, and Puppet. Utilize with containerization and orchestration including Docker, and Kubernetes. Monitor and log tools including ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering and five (5) years progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation developing methodologies through the application of various programming languages including Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Groovy; designing and implementing code fixes, validating outcomes against expected results, and producing associated reporting; utilizing unit testing, dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing; supporting applications and the software deployment process and solving configuration and environment issues; utilizing cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; utilizing CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS Code Pipeline; using configuration management tools using Ansible, Chef, and Puppet; utilizing with containerization and orchestration including Docker, and Kubernetes; and monitoring and logging tools including ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
