Senior Account Director, Demand Side Platform Agency Team

Senior Account Directors provide business consultation, cultivate client relationships, identify business opportunities within existing accounts, and drive revenue by delivering on client and AppNexus business objectives.

This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for problem solving and is seeking a role with direct and significant impact on the short- and long-term success of the company. Excellent communication and analytical skills, including the ability to get to the root of a problem, are critical, as is the ability to exercise good judgment independently. The individual needs to be able to breakdown complex technology and explain it with simplicity, as well as liaise with anyone ranging from an analyst to the CEO.

TheDSP Agency Account Management team supports a portfolio of 200+ agencies of varying size across the US and Canada.This team is experiencing substantial growth and is hiringtomeet the opportunity. The teamdrives client successandhelps bring AppNexus’ digital advertising products to marketwhile partnering closely with our Services, Product, and Marketing organizations.Our focus is building our clients’ businesses through leading-edge technology solutionsand strategic business consulting.

About the job:

·Drive long-term partnership valueby developingan understanding of clients’ businesses their technical challenges, operating environment, capabilities and goals as well as the advertising technology industry andcompetitive landscape

·Leverage knowledge of AppNexusand Xandrofferings to problem solvewith the clientand co-create valuable solutions

·Visit each client at least once per quarter to review product adoption, showcase new or upcoming features, and align on mutual goals

·Aligncross-functional teams and stakeholders in accountvision and business delivery; drive indirect (and direct where required) resources throughshared goals and outcomes

·Represent the client needs with other functional teams and provide input to Product to help shape our development roadmap

·Serve as a point of escalation and resolution for client service issues



Qualifications

About your skills:

  • Ability to excel in a client-facing, consultative role developing complex accounts (previous client facing experience not required)
  • Ability to take accountability, work under pressure, and set and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, demonstrating an ability toinfluenceclients and other stakeholders
  • Innately collaborative; demonstrated mastery of cross-functional leadership
  • Record of going above and beyond
  • BA/BS degree required, STEM degree a plus
  • 8+ years of post-college work experience; work in Enterprise Technology, Consulting, or Finance a plus

Just like any other business, AT&T exists to earn a profit. In any sales channel there is pressure to achieve a quantified sales target. Depending on the leaders and managers relevant, most "Cons" would be directly associated with sales pressure.
