Overall Purpose: This career step requires senior level experience. Responsible for cyber security areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications while providing protection for AT&T, our customers, and our vendors/partners. Works with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks. Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the cyber security programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Includes ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects. Analysis, of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk. Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&T's cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams. Develops policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers. Applies measures to block malicious code and applications. Includes forward looking research, planning and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats, and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions. Areas of work include, but are not limited to: Cyber Incident Response, cyber product testing, cyber risk & strategic analysis, cyber research, cyber awareness & training, cyber vulnerability detection & assessment, cyber intelligence & investigation, cyber networks & systems engineering, cyber security application testing, cyber digital forensics & forensics analysis, cyber software assurance, cyber business operations & support, cyber application development & testing, cyber operational support, cyber IoT planning & testing, cyber policy & requirements & standards.

This position will create architecture designs related to IAM features including Access Management and Identity Lifecycle Management in support of, but not limited to, the One ID program.  Architecture designs will include system level designs as well as assisting Scrum teams with architecture questions or general technical guidance. This could include assisting in coding issues or general debugging. This individual will be responsible for documenting their designs and providing detailed descriptions to the scrum teams on the proper technology to use for implementing those designs.

Required Skills:  ***Strong Systems or Software Architect required. ***Preferred extensive knowledge of Java ***Functional Understanding and Working Knowledge of: System Architecture and Software Engineering methodologies *** Premier coding, architecture and UI skills*** Programming Language (Java/C/Shell Scripts etc.)*** Expert knowledge in writing reusable code*** Great communicator and team player*** Networking/Application Protocols (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP, VPN/IPSec, Radius etc.)*** Identity and Access Management concepts (Authentication/Authorization/MFA/ABAC/PBAC/KBA etc.). Experience with one of the industry leading IAM products (IBM, Oracle, CA etc.)*** IAM Industry Standard Protocols (OIDC, oAUTH, SAML etc.)*** Perimeter security controls – firewall, IDS/IPS, network access control and network segmentation*** Security concepts related to DNS, routing, VPN, proxy services and DDOS mitigation technologies*** Knowledge of Cryptographic Algorithms (symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hashing algorithms)*** Cloud Concepts (public, private, hybrid cloud, cloud system stack architecture etc.)*** NIST IAM standards*** Risk assessment procedures, policy formation, role-based authorization methodologies, authentication technologies and security attack pathologies*** Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems*** Advanced knowledge of Swift or Java 8 is required

Desired Skills:    Security experience preferred*** Minimum 2 years of experience with Security related architecture or development***   master’s in computer science/Engineering or equivalent field.  *** OWASP Top 10

Job Contribution: Senior level technical expertise. Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on ATT technologies.
