Our AT&T Controller team, part of AT&T’s Finance organisation, is responsible for all Financial and Management Reporting, Accounting operations, Regulatory Reporting, Accounting Policy, Capital Services and Business Planning.
Due to a recent reorganisation, we are expanding our International Centre of Excellence based in a brand-new office location - Studley, Birmingham.The team supports entities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as well as Canada and Central & South America (CALA).We are hiring six (6) talented individuals who are new or recently qualified and are likely to have trained within a large auditing & consulting company environment. What would you be doing?
- Preparation of the statutory financial statements for annual filing - including regular supplementary reports and supporting audit processes
- Gathering and monitoring financial data from other AT&T departments (including HR, Operations and Sales)
- Examining financial records to check for accuracy
- Ensuring the financial data input into the reporting process is delivered in a timely manner
- Building relationships and liaising with directors, auditors and accounting outsourcers both in the UK and overseas
- Cooperation with AT&T’s EMEA and CALA entities
What qualifications do you need?
- Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA is a must
- A good working knowledge of international financial reporting
- A "hands on" approach together with the drive and enthusiasm to meet the challenges that this role presents
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Forward thinking and organised approach to project management, ability to manage own workload
- Ability to demonstrate self-motivation
- Ability to work as part of a large team, forging good relationships, and to communicate effectively

Working time: UK working hours
Location: Studley,Birmingham; This is a hybrid-flex worker position where our preference is for you to be present in the office at least 2 times per week. During the initial training period we would expect you to spend more time in the office as you build your knowledge and get to know the team.
