As Accounts Payable Disbursements Analyst, you will be part of a team of two who is responsible for providing support to AT&T legal and managed entities for making timely payments to suppliers and tax authorities for 70 International countries, reconciling the payments to the bank statements and ensuring the payments are accounted for in the ledgers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the payments are processed timely and accurately for a number of CALA, EMEA & APAC Legal Entities • Report forecast payments to Cash Management team in order to maintain adequate funding of operational bank accounts. • On a daily basis complete reconciliations on Oracle Cash Management of electronically imported bank statements. I.e. Identify all payments and booking to Accounts Payable ledger • Make sure that all tax payments are made in a timely manner • Use of a number of different internet banking software across the world • Regular contact with outsourcing companies who complete a set of books according to local GAAP • Contact with local country banks. • Support Financial Accounts function with statutory external audits
Key Competencies and Skills:
• Fluent in Spanish • Excel, Word and Outlook to an intermediate level • At least a year’s experience of working with a sub ledger system • Able to deal with and understand foreign currency conversions • Accounting knowledge to understand and take appropriate action to accounting issues • Excellent communication skills, in particular with banks • Good investigative/problem solving skills
Education and Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish is essential
