AT&T has been tasked with executing a comprehensive rebuild and modernization of the communications infrastructure and capabilities at Tyndall Air Force Base following Hurricane Michael in October 2018. AT&T will provide local, wide area networking and a broad array of current and future innovative information technologies that support Tyndall’s military. AT&T will deliver and manage these technologies at Tyndall Air Force Base.

This position will provide DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) process expertise at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. The candidate must demonstrate applicable skill level and experience in applying the DoD RMF process in obtaining an interim authority to test (IATT), authority to connect (ATC) and authority to operate (ATO). This includes DoD life cycle program support, DoD systems engineering processes, documents, reviews, and test (development and/or operational). 25% travel will be required


Specific work to be performed includes the following:

  • Developing, maintaining, and improving the IA security posture and documentation using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for Federal and DoD clients.
  • Review policies, guidelines, and directives identified by senior team member in support of development of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) plans for Federal and DoD systems.
  • Identify industry accepted technical security standards and the policies that drive compliance requirements
  • Participate in development and review of System Security Documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP), IA policies, Personnel Security, Disaster Recovery, Incident Responses, Authentication Management plan.
  • Knowledge and experience working with the DoD risk management tool eMASS
  • Utilize the COMSEC Accounting Reporting Database System (CARDS) to distribute COMSEC equipment for validated needs of users
Required Clearance:
DoD Secret

Certifications and Education:
  • CISSP (desired), Security + (required)
  • Baccalaureate degree in IT Mgt, engineering or computer science and/or 4 years equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of Information Assurance experience preferably focusing on IT security and Information Assurance for federal government or DoD systems.
