AT&T has an opening for a Technical Writer - To join a program team supporting a government customer in a highly complex information technology environment. This role will support the development, review and edit of documentation required as part of client deliverables. Work is within and across matrixed teams to produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Produce, audit, maintain and update documentation in a professional, timely, clear and concise manner
- Standard Operating Procedures
- Design Diagrams
- Configuration Documents
- User Manuals
- Technical White Papers
- Meeting Notes
- Ad-hoc Reports
- RFI Responses
- Research and gather relevant technical information sources and collaborate with engineers and SMEs to understand end user requirements, project deliverables, and to obtain an in-depth understanding of the current and future target information technology environment.
- Ability to take complex subject matter and distill it down to laymen terms for senior executive briefings and decision making.
Required Clearance: TSSCI with Polygraph. (#polygraph)
This position requires ability to satisfy a government administered high risk screening.
