Non-Domestic Transition Manager (Government)

AT&T primary point of contact for all technical EIS transition matters for government non-domestic sites. Build transition plans including infrastructure/application support models, change management.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordinating implementation activities, providing effective team leadership, including information flow to and from operations during project work
  • Responsible to execute and coordinate transition project schedule with PM and transition teams
  • Responsible for generating and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly transition reporting as required by COR, GTR, and PM
  • Manage team of engineers and installers to meet contractual SLA delivery requirements
  • Plan and coordinate the pre-deployment activities for multiple, simultaneous overseas projects
  • Manage the deployment and execution of multiple simultaneous overseas projects
  • Execute quality assurance for each project upon completion and work for government sign-off/acceptance


Required Experience, and Education:
  • 10 years of progressive telecommunications management experience, Master’s Degree (or Bachelor’s with 7 years)
  • 5 years of verifiable enterprise telecommunications transition management
  • 5 years of verifiable customer relationship management


Required Clearance:

Secret clearable to TS (Desire an active TS)


Desired:
  • 2 years of overseas telecommunications deployment/transition
  • 5 years of complex project scheduling in MS Project
  • 10 years MS Word, institutional knowledge of the DOS domestic network environment

The software defined network which we are building is the newest technology and AT&T has been involved since early 2000s. You have a great deal of autonomy at AT&T as long as you get the job done. You have the ability to do different jobs and to be challenged at all times.
