The Job

We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team and help us to achieve even greater velocity in our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for helping our engineers and product managers select, implement, and customize the most appropriate project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile). You will help clarify goals and requirements, foster transparency, clear obstacles, highlight risks, and promote highly collaborative teams. From a technical perspective, you need to feel comfortable with design concepts. You should be able to understand large scale architectural designs specific to a technical domain in the platform. You should be comfortable diving deep and understand the mechanism of multiple complex systems. You will work with product managers to define product experience, work with engineering leaders and engineers to design and build secure, durable, and scalable services.

The Team

We provide Project Management services to all Xandr product and engineering teams utilizing traditional and agile project methodologies to achieve industry-leading levels of efficiency. We achieve this goal by closely working with product and engineering leaders across Xandr and constantly adapting to and incorporating the best modern practices and helping improve the efficiency, reliability, repeatability, and flexibility and enable rapid development and deployment of new products, features, and services. Our operating efficiency directly contributes to the bottom line. We enable our colleagues, especially our engineering colleagues, to perform at their best.


You Will

  • Manage multiple complex and cross-functional technical projects
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product leads to develop plans, goals, milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation
  • Develop and deliver change management strategies to minimize impact where necessary
  • Identify and drive process improvement by diagnosing issues and implementing solutions
  • Optimize trade-offs between quality, resources, scope and time
  • Work with engineering, product, and leadership teams to plan and execute technical programs, product launches, operational activities, and process improvements.
  • Identify and communicate risks and blockers. Actively work to resolve these and drive successful deliveries. Ensure wide visibility through effective status reporting.
  • Derive learning from projects and feature deliveries. Use this information to inform new features and process for core and shared components.

You Have

  • BA/BS degree and 8+ years of experience in a senior technical project management role
  • Proficiency in leading large and complex strategic technical programs
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall development methodologies
  • Skilled in project management tools such as JIRA
  • Ability to work with and influence large cross-functional teams, including driving process improvement and change management
  • Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders at a technical, business, operational and executive level
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid environment
