Transform how employees and customers connect

Manages and negotiates provisioning and construction of real estate assets (generators) for network systems and operations for a large geographic territory. Construction - Manages capitol budget expenses pertaining to real estate acquisition assets. Secure and manage the activities of vendors. Represents the company in public hearings regarding zoning issues. Implements policies and procedures regarding the administration of real property and leases. Works with Legal to develop site leases. Interprets and applies and implements organizations policies and procedures. Responsible for creating budget inputs for the assigned territory or properties. Responsible for reviewing, evaluating and initiating real estate transactions with various entities. Responsible for managing special projects, such as disaster recovery business continuity. Construction - Manages outside plant construction activities. Responsible for cost estimates, bid sheets, and layouts. Conducts/participates in contract negotiation activities. Manages and controls allocation of resources and materials. Handles zoning issues and building code issues related to construction projects. Interfaces and coordintates with vendors to ensure timely delivery. Manages construction and replacement activity planning. Manages pre-construction activities, including pre-survey and site planning. Develops construction schedules and determines staffing needs.

Education: Typically a BS degree in Math, Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent related network experience.

Experience: Typically at least 5-8 years of successful administrative and/or technical support experience. Construction and engineering experience preferred.

Supervisory: No.

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
