DescriptionThis Sr. Manager - Operations & Services will be
responsible for driving execution and follow-up on key business initiatives
within the Xandr Media Operations & Services organization and as directed
by the Director – Chief of Staff. This individual will work in close engagement
with Sales, Product, Data, Finance and Legal team leaders to manage the
successful completion of a range of critical projects – examples include, but
are not limited to: project planning, pricing & planning, yield
optimization, system automation, operational workflow improvements, budget
management, and executive presentations. This position is also responsible for
overseeing headcount management and reporting.
The position will require a sophisticated understanding of the media and platform landscape, and business models. Successful candidates in this role will have strong analytical and project management skills, finance experience, and be an excellent communicator at all levels. The best candidates will have a balanced understanding of media and media technology companies and their operations. Poise and executive presence are an equally important skill for candidates seeking this role. The candidate must have an ability to build strong rapport and work closely with internal stakeholders to collect on business needs and to provide input into sales, product and operational functions.
Qualifications• BA/BS preferred
• 4-6 years of work experience in advertising supporting primary business unit
• Flexibility, and a demonstrated ability and willingness to think strategically and act tactically
• Excellent analytical thinking abilities
• Very strong project management and organization skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Passion to learn and willingness to work hard
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and under tight timelines
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
