The Team
Strategic Sales and Partnerships is a new function within Xandr’s Advertisers and Agencies group, whose goal is to establish and grow Xandr’s largest and most strategic relationships with leading marketers, agencies, consultancies, and martech businesses which utilize or complement Xandr’s buy-side technology platforms. Our objective to cultivate Xandr’s foundational "anchor" enterprise technology partnerships, which accelerate and unblock friction from the broader Advertisers & Agencies team's mission to drive advertising spend through Xandr Invest, our strategic buying platform, and Xandr Curate, a new addition to Xandr’s technology portfolio enabling the strategic curation of Xandr’s Marketplace. Our team is seeking innovative, passionate, and driven sales leaders and technology strategists who command a mastery of Xandr’s technology portfolio, foster strong client relationships, meet sales quotas, and evangelize our products, all whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Solutions Engineers are technical specialists which play a critical role in support of Advertisers & Agencies team new business objectives. A successful candidate is capable of serving as a trusted partner to our customers, sales and account management teams, and Product leaders which make our most complex partnerships possible. This candidate must be known for outstanding cross functional collaboration with internal partners, and track record of consistently leading customers to successful business outcomes in an ever evolving industry landscape. They should be equally as comfortable and effective in highly strategic and deeply operational or tactical conversations.

You Will

  • Build and maintain an encyclopedic knowledge of Xandr’s full suite of technology solutions.
  • Solve some of the largest challenges facing clients and the media and advertising industry through applications of Xandr’s technology, along with 3rd party complementary technologies (i.e. Cloud, CRM, Data Management Platforms), where relevant.
  • Become a trusted advisor capable of driving end-to-end project engagements both with customers and internal sales, services and product teams.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to scope and technically evaluate new business opportunities, proactively identifying and articulating the value proposition of cross-sell / up-sell opportunities.
  • Identify and document custom technical requirements, and coordinate as necessary with Product teams, effectively serving as a new business Program Manager along customer project lifecycles to deliver bespoke solutions.
  • Assist sales and account management teams with technical sections for RFP/RFI responses and new vendor assessments.
  • Perform client and prospect demonstrations of Xandr’s buy-side platforms.
  • Share sales and product insights and feedback with product management team to facilitate new features and updates
  • Eloquently describe product positioning and technical information to a broad range of audiences from a media trader to software developers, product managers, the CTO and CMO.
  • Design, document, and lead customers and cross-functional partners through customer engagement models and joint business plans.
  • Act as a thought partner and to the wider business and industry partners.

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer within B2B software, SaaS or technology enabled advertising businesses; experience in and understanding of the media and advertising industry preferred.
  • Innately collaborative; demonstrated mastery of cross-functional leadership with Account Management, Services, Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations and Finance Teams.
  • Mastery of managing complex projects to completion, including scoping, planning, execution, and maintenance.
  • Ability to excel in a client-facing, consultative role developing complex partnerships while taking full accountability, working under pressure, setting and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to design and deliver effective customer presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and lead all technical aspects of the sales process, while serving as a trusted advisor to customers, sales and product teams.
  • Ability to simultaneously prioritize and manage multiple accounts/opportunities
  • Experience creating detailed technical proposal and implementation plans.
  • Experience preparing and supporting RFP/RFI responses.
