Network and Computer Systems Administrator (Wireless), Network and Computer Systems Administrator (Wired, SDN)

The Wireless
Network Administrator shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

•            
3-5 years' experience in network administration;

•            
Associate level certification in the contractor's proposed network solution
(i.e. CCNA, BCNA, JNCA, etc.);

•            
Ruckus Networks ICX, Wireless AP and SmartZone Controller experience
preferred;

•            
Ruckus Networks Cloudpath experience desirable;

•            
Ruckus Networks ICX Implementer Accreditation, BCNE Certification or
equivalent;

•            
Ruckus Networks WiSE Certification and CWNA Certification preferred;

•            
Experience utilizing (RF) site survey tools such as; Ekahau, RF Scanners and
Wireshark packet capture software;

•            
Strong knowledge of layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing protocols;
including VLANs, 802.1w, OSPF and VRRP;

•            
Strong knowledge of network security including; 802.1x, MAC Authentication,
ACLs, RADIUS-Certificate of Authority (CA);

•            
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting RF and LAN issues;

•            
Working knowledge of LINUX, MS Server 2013, VMware, etc.;

•            
Strong documentation skills including updating JIRA Tickets, Wiki Pages and
Network Diagrams; and

•            
Ability to communicate with end users, cross-organizational staff and
technical assistance center


Required Clearance: No clearance required; US citizenship required

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study related to computer network administration/ Certifications (above)

This full-time position Location: Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA (entire campus)

I believe in AT&T and know they are at the edge of technology. The company believes in their people and offers all kinds of training to enable us to take on new jobs and to stay at the front of technology. The software defined network which we are building is the newest technology and AT&T has been involved since early 2000s. You have a great deal of autonomy at AT&T as long as you get the job done. You have the ability to do different jobs and to be challenged at all times.
