DescriptionOwns, Leads and Develops an end to end solution design for custom complex requests. The Solution Lead supports account teams and customers by providing technical and operational expertise and guidance in the design, planning, pricing, contracting and delivery of custom solutions. They provide advanced technical SME expertise and demonstrate strong project coordination and management skills. Solution Leads will also assess the technical feasibility and technical risk mitigation for pre-sales opportunities and consolidate multiple requirements into one cohesive technical solution.
a. Experience with understanding of ATT family of Local and Long-haul Network Architectures/Services including: Ultravailable, legacy ring services, Inter and Intra-lata Ethernet services, IOC Private Line services, and others required.
b. Strong Experience of Optical technology (OSI Layer 1 & 2, OTN, SONET), Optical physical and theoretical bandwidth modelling, Physical interfacing, and legacy Fiber platforms.
c. Experience and understanding of Network Architects that can include LAN, WLAN, WAN technologies, Data Center interconnect a plus
d. Experience and understanding of interconnectivity options in AT&T POP and with other AT&T telco and Other Common Carriers (OCC), a plus
e. Understanding of current and legacy CIENA and CISCO Systems Fiber hardware/software and design tools.
a. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
b. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross functionally
c. Strong Project Management skills with ability to recognize and appropriately escalate all aspects of the project.
d. A minimum of 5 years of direct customer facing and customer consultation experience
e. Moderate negotiations skills are a must have.
f. Flexibility is a must have.
g. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Advanced Visio knowledge, Visual Basic skill is a plus.
