Sr. Accountant / Analyst

Mexico City, Mexico City, Mexico

System monitoring of CAPS and OIE to ensure jobs ran and the system operates efficiently. Coordinate with Tier 3 and IT partners to resolve system issues and job failures. Act as a data analyst to pull data requests from organizational business partners, like Global Supply Chain, Auditors, and other various finance teams.

Maintains and enhances Access databases for Accounts Payable.

Advanced English is a must. Apply using an English Resume.

Roles and Responsibilities:

"CAPS: - Control monitoring, ensuring the system is operating efficiently.  There are ~35 existing SQLs ran and observed daily or weekly. - Ad-hoc data requests from various groups (e.g. Finance teams, Global Supply Chain, Auditors) OIE: Manually run queries to find other errors and then resolve them – every work day -Find expense reports that don’t have an approving manager listed -Find expense reports that are stuck in the workflow due to the submitter having left the company Verify that all feeds, jobs, & processes are running and producing the expected results – every work day,  sometimes in the evening/early morning & weekends depending upon the circumstances -Confirm that the CENET feed ran at its scheduled time and also that it didn’t take longer than 4 hours. Confirm that the job from P8 to OIE is running every 2 hours and has actual data - Confirm that all credit card transactions sent in feed to OIE from CAPS were also sent in the separate feed to Accounts Payable for Citibank payment Periodic maintenance – I perform these tasks whenever I have the time available - Compare credit card profile setups in OIE verses master list in CAPS and make any necessary adjustments - Compare OIE login account master list verses list of all active AT&T International employees and make any necessary adjustments Compare OIE Ex-Patriot overrides verses master list from HR and make any adjustments" "• Maintains existing Access databases Accounts Payable uses to help with manual work efforts. • Provides enhancements to Access databases to further streamline manual activities. • Assists other managers with issue resolution. • Reviews and processes and procedures with team members to help streamline/eliminate manual work efforts. • Serves as SME Support team."

Key Competencies and Skills:

Analytical Ability to prioritize projects and work Often with deadlines and competing interests Efficient in various Microsoft products Proficient with Oracle SQL. Ability to prioritize projects and work efficiently and in a timely manner Efficient in various Microsoft products (Outlook, Access, Xcel) and Toad query tool

Education and Qualifications:

• College/ University degree
