Executive Negotiator

The role of the Executive Negotiator (EN) is key to new business success in EMEA. With the increasing demands of the EMEA client base and custom contract and negotiation support required, there is consequent need from Sales for ENs to support their bids.

The EN is one of a select group of professionals who see the solution end to end and can translate the client requests to the appropriate towers within our partner base and then synthesize the output to be meaningful to our customers and negotiate the contracts successfully.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will join an international team of contract negotiators and other contracting professionals to take their first steps into supporting a Sales and Sales Solutions team with contractual expertise and guidance. The role supports new business engagements as well as existing contracts between AT&T and its large multinational customers. As Executive Negotiator, you will provide contract management for the customer. The successful candidate will have an interest in growing into negotiating in a complex environment and for advising partners on contractual strategies. The role supports EMEA Sales teams in engaging in new acquisitions.

Key Competencies and Skills:

- Business acumen (financial, commercial, contractual, legal) - Basic understanding of contract law and interest in (telecommunications) regulations - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Result oriented - Team player, roles works in larger SME teams on a project basis - Tenacity Desirable: - Understanding of at least one European jurisdiction - Knowledge about the telecommunications or IT industry - Basic understanding of ITIL - 2-3 year experience in a pre-Sales environment

Education and Qualifications:

Legal drafting, contract structure knowledge, negotiating skills, client exposure.

Additional Information:

English is the primary language. Knowledge of other western european languages is a benefit.
