AT&T has an opening for a Training Manager to support the Light House Program, in providing certification and continuous training to our facility technicians.

The job duties of the Training Manager are as follows:  

  • A non-supervisory position that supports our customer to ensure readiness, reliability, and survivability of facilities during times of emergency or crisis such as natural disasters, and nation emergencies.
  • Training Manager/Instructor is responsible for collaborating with our customer on training needs and requirements. Responsible for creating an employee certification plan that fulfills the needs of the contract.
  • Creates and maintains the Standard Operating Procedures for the facility.
  • Creates and conducts training exercises to maintain employee proficiency and facility readiness. Responsible for the maintenance and calibration of all monitoring equipment.
  • Maintains all Training Records in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Conducts certification training for CPR/AED and First Aid for the program, along with certifying each employee in the proper uses of HAZMAT type PPE.
  • May conduct train-the-trainer sessions for other instructors and provide coaching to employees on creating development plans and monitoring progress.
  • Support a 7X24X365 readiness posture, which could include extended periods of time in potentially hazardous environments.
  • Supports Operations Center monitoring the Building Management System making necessary adjustments, security monitoring systems, and facility access control system.
  • Required to maintain certification and proficiency with HAZMAT type PPE equipment and operations
  • Maintain required qualification and special certifications as mandated by AT&T.

Required Clearance:

TS/SCI (#ts/sci)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in adult education / instruction or Bachelor of Science.
  • Experience in CBRN training, building infrastructure equipment to include, but not limited to generators, power distribution units (PDU), uninterruptible power systems (UPS), automatic transfer switches (ATS), HVAC, etc.
