Job Description:
Looking for experienced IT system support professionals with UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Azure Cloud, Kafka Queues, load balancers, and Web server support experience in the field. Must be adept at troubleshooting, server patching, server rebooting, server security issues, and outage handling, with an emphasis on outstanding customer service and detail-oriented project management skills. Involved in various duties from managing ITO server OS patching, supporting server maintenance, and deploying application tools, to maintaining server status scripts. Additionally, they have demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills in coordinating with teams, managing project personnel, and handling UNIX servers security issues. The professional is also willing to be on call 24x7, able to provide support during maintenance windows, and capable of training team members, and responding to client inquiries. They highlight a comprehensive understanding of IT system support, making them a potentially strong candidate in this field. Prefer to have at least bachelor’s degrees in related fields with experience in system administration, and UNIX shell scripting. Familiar with AT&T internal system for generating and managing change requests (CR), TROUT, HALO, UAM, and SACT reports, is a plus.
