Voice Engineer – Expert (Government)

Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community, providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

AT&T has an opening for a Voice Engineer to support the design, development and integration of voice and video telecommunications systems.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer requirements for audio/video and VTC systems and conduct requirements analysis/ allocation and interface definition
  • Conduct site surveys with the customer to assess system requirements, evaluate alternatives and analyze system as a whole
  • Design/produce documentation for system installations, including integration of legacy equipment, scale drawing, hours estimation, managing installation, system testing and quality assurance
  • Projects include design/development of large scale A/V deployments, operations centers, customer A/V rooms, video walls, and voice lift.

Required Clearance:

TSSCI with poly (#polygraph)

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Requires a B.S. and 8-13 years of relevant experience or 11-16 years of relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Avaya Certified Solutions Specialist (ACSS); Avaya Certified Integration Specialist (ACIS); Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist;
  •  Extron Audio/Video Engineer;
  • Working knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
