About the role:
Responsible for managing and growing AppNexus/Xandr's DSP Agency business in the West Region. This is a player/coach role. This person is responsible for creating and executing AppNexus/Xandr’s West DSP Agency GTM strategy while also leading a team of account managers. We are looking for someone passionate about solving complex problems and eager to make a direct impact on both the short and long-term success of Xandr's West DSP Agency business.

About the team:
The DSP Agency Sales and Account Management team supports a portfolio of agencies and trading desks of varying size in the West. This team is experiencing substantial growth and is hiring to meet the opportunity. The team drives client success and helps bring AppNexus’ digital advertising products to market while partnering closely with our Services, Product, and Marketing organizations. Our focus is building our clients’ businesses through leading-edge technology solutions and strategic business consulting.

About the job:
  • Manage all West DSP Agency accounts, ensuring overall market success
  • Combine knowledge of AppNexus/Xandr offerings and the West advertising ecosystem to create a market leading programmatic strategy and GTM team
  • Grow and manage a best-in-class sales team
  • Develop and communicate an advertising GTM strategy across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
  • Oversee the delivery of client business reviews and leverage these to identify and activate new opportunities
  • Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders in account vision and business delivery
  • Become the senior escalation point for your team’s accounts and diffuse challenging situations

Qualifications

  • Capable of gaining a deep understanding of technology enabled advertising solutions
  • Ability to excel in a client-facing, consultative role developing complex accounts
  • Comfort in building and managing relationships at the senior level (ie C-level contacts)
  • Ability to take accountability, work under pressure, and set and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, demonstrating an ability to influence clients and other stakeholders
  • Innately collaborative; demonstrated mastery of cross-functional leadership
  • Record of going above and beyond
  • Proven record of recruiting and growing a sales team
  • BA/BS degree required, STEM degree a plus
  • 8+ years of post-college work experience; work in Enterprise Technology, Consulting, Finance, or an Agency Holding Company a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in people management

Good experience overall. Colleagues were very helpful. Atmosphere was chilled out and there was no rush to complete the project. Was given ample amount of time to understand the project and contribute.

Cons

People are laid back and don't take initiative to do something new or optimize existing stuff. It's not primarily engineering company so if you know how to talk, you will go far longer in career.
