Staff Host/Reporter – AT&T SportsNet - Rocky Mountain

AT&T SportsNet is seeking an on-air Host/Reporter to join their sports production team in Denver. This person will serve as Talent on pre/post game shows and in-game for our Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Rockies and Mountain West college football and basketball coverage. The ideal candidate must have extensive sports knowledge, have an innovative approach, and be able to excel in a fast-paced live television environment.

This position reports to the Executive Producer and is based in Denver, CO.

Essential functions:

  • Be a key creative contributor in originating interesting & informative content for ATTSN

  • Host Vegas Golden Knights pre/post/intermission shows – both on site & from studio

  • Rinkside Reporter as needed for Vegas Golden Knights games

  • Host Colorado Rockies pre and post game shows as assigned

  • Sideline Reporter for Colorado Rockies games as assigned

  • Sideline Reporter for Mountain West College Football and/or Basketball

  • May be called upon to serve as Play X Play in MW Football & Basketball games

  • Leader on production of features as needed (lining up shoot, writing, compiling materials)

  • Serves as point person between team personnel and ATTSN for information and story leads

  • Effectively communicates with Producer, Director, Photog & key production personnel

  • Serves as ATTSN spokesperson for community events and with other media as assigned


  • Must provide current demo reel showing experience in the job functions above

  • Must provide current professional references

  • Proven experience in a live television sports production setting

  • Extensive NHL and MLB knowledge and on-camera experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in TV/Film Production or a related field or equivalent in work experience

  • Proven success collaborating with Production leaders and broadcast partners

  • Proven ability to lead production projects and direct freelance teams

  • Innovative and creative approach to projects and high attention to detail

  • Must be able to work varied and flexible hours in support of live sporting events (i.e. nights, weekends, and holidays)
