AT&T's Lead Product Marketing Manager is a seasoned professional skilled in developing and implementing marketing strategy for highly complex products and services.  As a seasoned professional, the AT&T Lead Product Marketing Manager understands the dynamics of the industry, new and emerging products technologies and or applications, has a thorough understanding of AT&T customers needs and ensures the development of a compelling customer experience; driving results and product accountability.  

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the success of a product or group of products through development and execution of comprehensive marketing plan including new and emerging products, technologies and/or applications.
  • Be product owner throughout the life cycle

  • Manage large projects and incubators with significant empowerment on decisions on solution directions, delivery, and budgets

  • Lead a team or POD to ensure on-time, inclusive (all applicable systems and work groups), effective and efficient project delivery.  Wide latitude for independent judgment.  Acts as the subject matter expert/lead for a key piece of Offers/promotion functionality

  • Identify and develop product strategy based on customer need.  Then, develop Business Cases/financial models and manages all aspects of a product or program from concept through to implementation to post-management.  Strategically develop and manage the successful delivery of business requirements (Feature Sets, User Stories and Epics) through an end-to-end process.  Delivers cost/benefit analysis forecasts.

  • Manages final technical design/solutions and coordinates user acceptance testing.  Accountable for pre-launch quality testing and post-delivery management of scope.

  • Leads reviews with Leadership and other stakeholders, as well as does general communications (examples: KPI, project, Incubator Backlog reviews).

  • Have expert knowledge on online technologies.  With the increasing sophistication of the buy-flows (examples: data-driven personalization, integration with new supporting platforms, analytics-based funnel structure, responsive design, integrated carts, inclusion of AI elements such as recommenders and chatbots), managers are the technical experts to ensure the best delivery solutions for new initiatives.

  • Provide continuing product surveillance and management of established product to attain financial objectives

  • Act as the foremost expert within the offer product discipline and an acknowledged authority within the organization

  • Work with marketing and sales operations teams to develop service delivery and channel enablement plans.

  • Perform competitive analysis to evaluate product capabilities, customer experience and frontline experience;

  • Rationalize solution offerings by performing map/gap analysis against current offering and industry standards and best practices.

  • Collaborate and foster strong relationships with internal and external resources.  Engage with different functional teams and business units (in order to drive business success and optimization).


  • Required Qualifications

    • Five years product management experience
    • Must be comfortable with conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies or applications to senior level management and across a diverse product team
    • Product launch and lifecycle management experience
    • Previous experience leading a cross-functional organization in executing projects from ideation to completion
    • Previous experience in Agile methodology
    • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a fast-paced, high-growth professional environment
    • Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills
    • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
    • Ability to clear a criminal background check and drug test.
    • Desired Qualifications

      • Six or more years product management experience, preferably in consumer new product development
      • Product management experience within high tech, software and/or wireless/telecom industry highly desired.
