See why building connections is vital.

At AT&T, we’re connecting customers to the latest mobility and internet products. We have an exciting opportunity to apply your digital passion and expertise to a team that’s driving implementation and adoption of next-gen MarTech/AdTech solutions. This is a great opportunity to grow a successful career at a Fortune 10 company and impact how AT&T reaches and engages consumers.

As a Marketing Technology & Online Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in automation, implementation, QA, and support of all platforms involved in tagging, tracking and overall media technology. This role will be a key partner across site architecture, ecommerce, media, marketing, and outside agencies. This role will also be tasked with scaling online data collection processes, as well as supporting our existing and growing technology stack. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and automation, a sense of ownership and pride in the creation of efficiencies, and a thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape.

Preferred location is El Segundo, CA; other locations will be considered.

Core Responsibilities & Contributions:

  • Ensure tracking standards that account for marketing goals, drive media efficiencies, and enable advanced insights including site analytics, multi-touch attribution, cross-channel and multi-product buy flows
  • Prepare tags and tracking enhancements for critical code releases - includes aligning with key partners, identify dependencies and requirements, performing regular quality checks, and advancing progress through privacy and architecture reviews
  • Learn, follow, and evangelize the specific procedures for campaign implementation when new technology or additional ad management systems are introduced
  • Stay current with industry technology and privacy developments in the digital space - buying and bidding signals, cookie deprecation, IDFA - and formulate recommendations on how current processes need to adapt
  • Maximize online data collection with a framework that accounts for competing needs between publishers, agencies, and audience re-targeting tactics
  • Develop ways to resolve online signals and identifiers to offline populations via larger marketing technology initiatives - Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Neustar DSDK and iDMP, and server-to-server integrations

  • 6+ years' combined experience with digital marketing and ad operations ecosystems - data collection, integration, activation across paid media and websites
  • Experience with tag management systems and the ability to create custom JavaScript installations - must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot existing code as well as set up tracking for complex scenarios (i.e., eComm cart checkouts) across multiple platforms
  • Understanding of digital campaign processes including trafficking through an ad server, creating UTM parameters, and applying taxonomy through DMPs, DSPs and multiple ad accounts
  • Knowledge of common digital platforms (i.e., Salesforce, Adobe, Tealium, Invoca) and publishers (i.e., Google, Facebook, Xandr or other common DSPs).
  • Technical ability with excellent communication skills - ability to translate complex requirements into relevant updates for a wide and varied audience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Wed Development, Management Information Systems or Software Engineering preferred
