Overall Purpose: As a key contributor, you will help shape the narrative that highlights the innovative efforts and achievements of the network and technology teams.
Key Roles, Responsibilities, and Qualifications:
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Support the network and technology teams by preparing essential communications materials, including media preparation documents, media lists, and backgrounders. Main focus of support will be the network disaster recovery teams.
• Reporting, managing communications plans and programs, writing statements, announcements, blogs, and social media posts.
• Protecting the AT&T brand and supporting the media relations strategy for various long-term and quick-turn issues.
• Communicating with media to understand inquiries, working closely with business and other teams to gather facts, and developing recommended media responses.
• Collaborating across peer groups and managers.
Qualifications:
• Education: A degree in communications or marketing fields is preferred.
• Experience: Typically, 5 + years of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory: No supervisory responsibilities.

Salary: Our Lead Manager Communications & PR earns between $105,600-$158,400 USD annually in Dallas, TX, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
