Job Description:
Responsible for updating and maintaining financial systems. Leads process improvement efforts to enhance the effectiveness, accuracy and performance of financial systems.
MR2020 is the reporting system that provides a consolidated view of revenue, expense, volumes, and force data for AT&T. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in MR2020 and/or multi-dimensional reporting. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and enhance their skills, contributing to the ongoing success and innovation of our team. While we work with financial systems this position is focused on financial reporting.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Monthly Revenue processing, including creating manual entries, reconciliations, table updates and validating results
Revenue restatements, including coordinating changes with clients, IT and validating results
Communicate and resolve issues with clients
Project work
Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested
Data harvesting
Documentation
Required:
MR2020 and Multi-Dimensional Reporting: Prior experience with AT&T’s MR2020 reporting/or multi-dimensional reporting.
Essbase and SmartView: Experience with Essbase data cubes and the SmartView Add-in.
SQL and Querying Tools: Proficiency in SQL or similar querying tools.
Finance Knowledge: Basic knowledge of financial reporting concepts and accounting
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision and tight deadlines.
Database Systems: Experience with database systems.
Data Gathering: Competence in data gathering techniques.
Client Relationship Management: Experience in managing client relationships.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
- 5-7 years directly relevant experience
