Overall Purpose: Responsible for SEC reporting, technical accounting and financial analysis; works on compiling financial statements and disclosures, and researching and recommending accounting treatment for new rulemaking and/or transactions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Team member responsible for developing AT&T Annual Report, 10K, 10Qs, and other information required for debt offerings and registration statements. Gathers, interprets, and evaluates financial information for disclosure. Responsibilities also include reporting for preferred securities, working with external auditors, collaborating with Investor Relations on earnings releases, and preparation of periodic release of financial information to external parties. Position will also assist in technical accounting research on select projects, including making recommendations on accounting treatment to management.

Job Contribution: Uses professional concepts and company objectives to prepare regulatory reporting, support decision making and resolve complex issues in effective ways. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of GAAP and other business factors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed CPA
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical related field
  • Five years experience in accounting, financial analysis, or financial reporting
  • Good communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and project management/leadership skills
  • Excellent desktop skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access)

 Desired Qualifications:

  • Five or more years experience in Financial Analysis, modeling and forecasting
  • MBA in Finance 
  • Experience using Oracle, Workiva or other financial reporting tools
