The Lead Cost Accountant - Capitalized Labor/Cost Allocations role is responsible for the more complex cost analyses and audits associated with the cost accounting function.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements and manages one or a combination of cost accounting systems in the Capitalized Labor/Cost Allocations space
- Collects data, allocates costs and develops reports on labor, equipment, assembly or other operating expenses, ensuring that established procedures are followed
- Responsible for monthly accounting and validation of capitalized labor
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in- depth evaluation of various factors
The Lead Cost Accountant Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Work leadership may be provided by assigning work and resolving problems.
Experience:
- Typically requires 5-7 years’ relevant experience
- Strong Data Analysis
- Experience with SQL and FDW
- Must be willing to work 3-5 days in the office per week
This position is in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA, and will be required to come into the office at least 3 days per week. Relocation assistance is not available.

Our Lead Cost Accountants earn between $85,700 - $128,500. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
