AT&T Business Marketing is seeking a Director Market Research & Analysis who will lead a team of managers in creating a competitive intelligence and market research center of excellence (COE). This team provides expert-level “market-sensing” insights on the competitive landscape and critical market and competitor actions as well as recommended actions through weekly C-suite briefs, quarterly competitor earnings summaries, and in-depth market research reports. The team also conducts qualitative and quantitative primary marketing research to support business needs related to new/existing product launches, offer/pricing tests, customer experience, and market sensing. The team is responsible for delivery of daily news summaries for over 25,000 employees on breaking competitive news, market trends, and sales opportunities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Directs strategic competitive insights for C-suite audience, Product Management, and Marketing. Directs competitive intelligence and primary market research studies and makes presentations on market conditions, market potential, future trends, opportunities, and recommended actions. Requires expert knowledge within the competitive intelligence field (public and syndicated research sources) and marketing research (qualitative/quantitative approaches, sampling, and data analysis) field and the ability to integrate critical information from many diverse areas. Develops guidelines and implementation procedures for new strategies and policies. Manage projects performed by outside research firms. Leads teams and mentors team members for professional development and career path.

Education: Master’s Degree is preferred.
Experience: Typically requires 10 or more years of experience.
