RIS I is the delivery of regional IT services to the end user. We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices. We support local and campus area networks, including wireless and cable plant.

AT&T has an opening for a VTC & Video Service Manager responsible for managing the relationship with the customer for VTC and Video services

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities: Direct and lead a group to design, select components, integrate, deliver, and support the operation of VTC & Video Services used by a large user community. This is a supervisory job with responsibility to plan and apportion work of employees and other staff (NPWs) including interviewing, selecting, training, recommending the setting and adjusting of rates of pay and hours of work, coaching and assessing performance, and ensuring compliance with company and program policy. 

Responsibilities: The selected candidate will:  Manage a group of first and second level managers and other staff (NPWs) to create and use processes, procedures, platforms, tools to deliver and support VTC & Video Services in an operational environment.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding and familiarity with Resource Units (RUs) and Service Catalog items that require VTC & Video Services.

Develop and apply expertise to build, integrate and test models of operational performance and/or that replicate issues encountered in operational environments.

Coordinate with Service Transition and Operations to manage the configuration and lifecycle of production assets used or reserved for use in the enterprise.

Direct and manage activities of engineers to support Operations and Field Support teams.

Assist in determining and recommending appropriate lifecycle actions for existing platforms and processes.

Analyze metrics and collected metadata to determine the performance of VTC & Video Services across the enterprise and develop corrective action plans to ensure VTC & Video Services meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Troubleshoot operational issues and assist root-cause analyses of those issues.

Participate in assessments of operational needs.

Consult with peer organizations to clarify needs, communicate status, contribute to the overall success of the enterprise

Establish and maintain a relationship with the Government VTC & Video Services Service Owner.

Develop a rapport with Government VTC & Video Services Subject Matter Experts sufficient to understand their requirements, hot button issues, and concerns.

Track technologies and industry best practice used to deliver and manage VTC & Video Services.

Assist and provide input to plan tech insertion and the evolution of VTC & Video Services for the enterprise, bringing in the best practices and innovations from AT&T and industry.

Required Clearance: TSSCI with polygraph. (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Masters degree and 20 years of experience managing personnel with a deep customer knowledge base and technical hands-on in the customer environment.
