Description:

Looking for a candidate to assist with the entire process of
defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including
illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. The candidate should be someone who
can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly
into images, layouts and other designs. Your graphics should capture the
attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this,
you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate
requirements into design.

Responsibilities
Include:

  • Create professional, high-quality presentations; provide
    consultation and suggestions on design concepts and layout with the goal to
    produce sophisticated, visually-appealing presentations.
  • Create original
    graphic content for slides for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Attend meetings with
    stakeholders to find graphic solutions to complex problems.
  • Continuously work
    towards improving the overall design standard and consistency of
    presentations and formats.
  • Collaborate with
    content providers to design visually compelling graphics. Envision graphical
    ways to display data.
  • Work closely with management
    and technical team members for both standard and ad-hoc requests.
  • Clearly communicate
    with team members to prioritize work (competing priorities, last minute
    requests, etc.) and discuss issues, questions, status of work with key
    stakeholders.
  • Escalate complex issues and questions to help manage risk of not
    meeting deliverables.





Required
Skills, Experience, and Education
:  Shall have nine (9) years of experience that may include a
combination of work history and education. A master’s degree is equivalent to
6 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree is equivalent to 4 years of
experience and an associate’s degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
The degree must be from an accredited college or university.

Work experience must be in knowledge management or learning
development. In addition, must have excellent facilitation, program/activity
management, and written and oral communication skills.

  • Expert-level PowerPoint and
    Word skills—experience using Excel within PowerPoint preferred
  • A comprehensive and thorough
    understanding of how to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe
    Creative Suite to develop collateral materials
  • Proficiency using graphic
    design tool, e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Ability to incorporate
    various types of multimedia into Microsoft Office
    documents/presentations
  • Bachelor's Degree in Design
    preferred
