Senior Manager, Sales and Account Management, Demand Side Platform
The Senior Manager, Sales and Account Management, is a player/coach role. This person is responsible for managing and growing one or more of our largest agency clients and a team of account managers. We are looking for someone passionate about solving complex problems and eager to make a direct impact on both the short and long-term success of the business. The Senior Manager must have the ability breakdown complex technology, explain it with simplicity, and drive strategic conversations with executives, while managing a growing a team of direct reports.
The Demand Side Platform (DSP) Agency Sales and Account Management team supports a portfolio of 200+ agencies of varying size across the US and Canada. Our team is experiencing substantial growth and is hiring to meet the opportunity. We focus on building our clients’ businesses through leading-edge technology solutions and strategic business consulting. We work cross-functionally with the Services, Product, and Marketing organizations.
- Develop and grow a best-in-class team
- Pair knowledge of AppNexus and Xandr offerings with the client’s objectives to co-create valuable solutions and drive increased revenue
- Oversee the delivery of client business reviews and leverage these to identify new opportunities
- Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders in account vision and business delivery
- Become the senior escalation point for your team’s accounts and diffuse challenging situations
About your skills:
·BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus
·2+ years of experience in people management
·8+ years of post-college work experience; work in Finance, Consulting, Enterprise Technology, or an Agency Holding Company a plus
·Ability to excel in a client-facing, consultative role developing complex accounts
·Comfort in building and managing relationships at the senior level (ie C-level contacts)
·Capable of gaining a deep understanding of technology enabled advertising and using this to drive business outcomes
·Ability to effectively communicate, present to and influence clients, stakeholders and cross-functional leaders
·Proven record of recruiting and growing outstanding account managers
