Information Systems Security Specialist – Associate (Government)

CHAMBERSBURG , Pennsylvania

A member of the Configuration Management and Deployment Team (CMD)
(DISA GSM-O program) that lead/support Sensor Grid Management DISA
Chambersburg.  Provides Information Security Controls and
guidelines to nodes and network management systems. Maintains network/system
access and password controls. Collates and analyzes audit trail data. Reviews
security threats and determines/implements effective countermeasures IAW
established policies/regulations/directives. Analyzes network or system
changes/reconfigurations for security impacts (performs risk
analysis/assessment). Documents security measures policies. Performs
functions as required in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the
Defense Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation
Program (DITSCAP) and DISAI 630-230-19.

  • Download, verify, and test new vendor software
    updates
  • Build, configure, ship Linux based servers
  • Assist in remote installation and configuration
    of deployed servers
  • Occasional travel to customer sites for
    physical server installation
  • Coordinate efforts with team
  • Learn new versions/baselines for adoption and
    widespread use


Required Experience,
Education, and Certifications
:

  • DoD 8570 Compliant for IAT Level
    II:  Possess a CASP, CCNA-Security,
    CISSP, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP certification
  • Candidate
    must have experience working in a lab, in an unsupervised environment
  • Candidate
    must have experience working with DoD / Government Leaders at all levels.
  • Candidate
    must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Candidate
    must have Linux Command Line Experience

    should have UNIX Administrative skills.

The software defined network which we are building is the newest technology and AT&T has been involved since early 2000s. You have a great deal of autonomy at AT&T as long as you get the job done. You have the ability to do different jobs and to be challenged at all times.
