Security Architects are project-based roles assigned as either designated or dedicated resources to customer projects or programs. The Security Architect role is responsible for developing complex cybersecurity solutions that utilize multiple vendors to create high capacity security solutions applying defense in depth and secure by design principles. The candidate must have direct experience in designing multivendor security solutions that include Firewall, IDPS, Domain Service, anti-malware, proxy servers, e-mail gateways, content and URL filtering, and other leading next generation technologies. The candidate must have documented experience in performing solution review and analysis of security requirements with senior solution leadership and aptitude to work with peer team members to develop integrated plans to protect corporate and customer assets in addition to information technology.
Role includes researching, recommending, documenting, and coordinating implementation of changes to people, process, technology and governance to enhance complex security solutions. Ability to develop and maintain understanding of customer security architecture. Assess security and risk of a specific architecture, design, solution or functions and provide recommended corrections. Review RFPs, RFIs, contracts and agreements for security impacts, risks, requirements and provide feedback. Provide security SME support to legal, contracts and negotiators. Provide security policy evaluation, requirements analysis and security assessment review. Interface with AT&T Product and AT&T account teams for in scope service development to represent customer architectural security requirements. Work with customer security organization stakeholders to specify ‘secure by design’ aspects that need to be considered at an architecture level. Develop and deliver security solutions that address customer security requirements, reduce customer risk and follow the required security compliance standards.
This role will be required to facilitate compliance with company security policies, industry security and risk management frameworks, and legal requirements. May provide support to non-management employees, including coaching, on-the-job and formal training, reference materials, procedures and system documentation. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information. Will interface with other stakeholders including vendors, application development and technical support staff, and clients

• Complex Security Platform High- and Low-Level Experience
• Relationship Management: Vendor, Product, Internal and Customer Teams
Job Contribution: Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.
Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Information Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Certification: Industry leading security certification(s) preferred. CISSP, ISO, SANS GIAC, CeH, Vendor Specific, Leadership
