We are looking for a Scrum Master or an agile coach who will play a critical role in establishing the Agile principles and practices in a new software engineering team in Central Europe.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Scrum/Agile expert, providing guidance and coaching to Scrum teams on Agile principles and practices.
- Mentor and guide Scrum teams on Agile practices, promoting a culture of self-management and accountability.
- Act as a servant leader, advocating for the team and protecting them from external distractions and unnecessary interruptions.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to Scrum processes and practices, promoting continuous improvement and team efficiency.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication within and across Scrum teams and stakeholders.
- Remove any impediments or blockers that hinder the team's progress, fostering a self-organizing and empowered team culture.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to share best practices and align on organizational Agile initiatives.
- Identify and recommend tools, techniques, and best practices that can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Agile delivery.
- Monitor and track key Agile metrics, such as team velocity and sprint burndown, and provide insights to stakeholders for decision-making.
Skills:
- 3+years of experience working as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile teams and driving Agile adoption.
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced Agile software development environment.
- Experience with implementing Scaled Agile Framework is a plus.
- Excellent facilitation and coaching skills to guide and mentor Scrum teams.
- Leadership skills to influence and motivate teams and stakeholders towards Agile adoption and continuous improvement.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills to address and resolve issues within the team.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices in Agile and Scrum.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) or Certified Scaled Agile Framework Scrum Master are a plus.

Location:
This is a hybrid-flex worker position where our preference is for you to be present with your team in the office at least 1-3 times per week.
Working hours:
EMEA, approx. 9am-5,30pm (with some flexibility)
Compensation:
Salary for Slovakia starting from 2 900 EUR gross monthly.
Salary for Czech Republic starting from 86 800 CZK gross monthly.
The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge, and experience.
