MSS Network Security Associate Engineer Tier 2

MSS is looking for candidates for the position of Network Security Engineer, Tier 2, in order to provide Service Assurance for our EMEA-Restricted and International customers. The team handles incident management and change implementation on firewalls and proxies. This is a complex job in a dynamic and demanding environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The team handles incident management and change implementation on firewalls and proxies in a dynamic environment.

Key Competencies and Skills:
· Mandatory experience in network environment.
· Knowledge of at least one firewall vendor is preferred.
· Genuine interest and natural curiosity towards network security field.
· Highly motivated and reliable individuals with effective problem solving skills.
· Positive stress tolerance and high energy.
· Advanced English language level.

Education and Qualifications:
· Background in IT networks or network security.
· Minimum CCNA knowledge level or equivalent.
· CCNA Security (or equivalent) is preferable and an advantage.

Additional Information:
· Central shifts of 8 hours with occasional weekend shifts.
· We have a wonderful team atmosphere with frequent team buildings and events.
· Internal trainings and mentoring are provided to newcomers.
· Our team gets vendor trainings every year on technologies we support.
· Certifications are reimbursed.

Great job if you like the shifts and don't mind taking calls

Pros

Great benefits, 5 weeks training and ongoing training, mostly supportive managers, good facilities, competitive pay.

Cons

Shifts, mostly night shifts , some managers are more focused on targets than others so pressure can rise, no time between calls at busy times can be overwhelming
