For this summer, our organization - Network Systems Engineering – is looking for two passionate students of computer sciences with focus on software development.
It will be an exciting opportunity to become an intern in a diverse team, working on transformative projects that help AT&T connect the people to greater possibilities with simplicity, expertise and inspiration.
Selected candidates will be able to immerse themselves in SAFe based software development methodology, experience real life business challenges and work with team members who share the passion for software and application development.
If you know JavaScript (both on frontend and backend side), are familiar with SQL, can analyze requirements and implement them in the code, this opportunity is for you.
Job Overview:
• This position is within Network Systems and technologies that enable the transformation of AT&T leading edge networks and services, such as 5G and fiber broadband.
• Works closely with the Solution Architects and System Engineers to ensure that overall program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives
• The key focus is to enable the automation of organization in all facets including but not limited to the following areas: development, quality assurance, and solution engineering.
• Responsible for code development as well as developing and executing tests with use of ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework
• You will have the opportunity to take the ServiceNow course completely provided by AT&T!
What you'll do
• Discuss, understand and develop the code for particular User Story implementation
• Design, develop, implement unit tests for above
• Participate in daily ceremonies, project planning, system and solution demos, retrospective workshops
What you'll bring:
• Understanding of ServiceNow Platform (training will be provided)
• Programming Languages – JavaScript, Python is a plus
• Awareness of Agile, DevOps, SAFe approaches
• Knowledge of networking principles, operating systems and development environments is a great plus
• Communicative English both written and spoken
• Position suitable for Technical University Students
